It's not like guests are invited here to start killing each other. But...due to the fact that all of the Master's guests are wildly different, we've been trained to be prepared just in case something of that nature happens.
...I've never really asked, actually. Master Blue usually sends out the invites and once the RSVPs return we prepare for the guests. But the Master has reasons for everything. Maybe it was the thought that there was something this group of people had in common? You are the biggest group that's ever been invited.
So Master Blue just invites a bunch of people here and tells you guys to prepare, and also wants you guys to handle doing trials when somebody gets murdered, and you never asked why?
Actually, yeah! That's something I wanted to bring up to you guys, actually.
[Taking a deep breath, like he prepared a speech, but he absolutely didn't and he's just going to say whatever pops into his head like usual.]
I report to my Captain, but I question his orders all the time! If something he says doesn't sound right, then I'm going to do the right thing instead. And that's okay - [It's not] - because in a crisis, Ignis knows he can trust my judgment, and I know I can trust him to explain why I can't do something if it really matters. That's called respect.
But just being loyal to someone and trusting whatever they say, even if it isn't adding up, and even if you think you aren't getting the whole picture - that's no good! If they really care about you, then they'll be willing to tell you and let you make up your own mind!
[That sure is a lot of words suddenly coming in the form of a protag speech. Peach listens for a moment, seeming to absorb everything Galo is saying even as she nods along. Humans...are very fascinating, aren't they? The type who really find something to believe in and firmly latch on. The look on her face is partially awe and partially amusement but she waits for a moment before replying.]
I suppose you have a point, yeah. We've never thought to ask Master Blue about the guests because it's never really mattered to us. We treat our guests the same regardless of who they are. [She tilts her head though.] Then again, Master Blue has earned our respect even if there are things we don't necessarily agree with.
What do you do if what you thought was the right thing was actually the wrong thing? [It's hypothetical because she's starting to get Galo's line of thinking, but also...hm.]
[He really thinks he's nailing it and they'll let everyone go.]
If I found out something I thought was right was actually wrong, then I'd change what I was doing and try to make everything right again. It's that simple, as long as you believe in yourself.
[A hero to us all. It's so..simple, and Peach almost looks a little sad that Galo seems to think it's so straight-forward but she doesn't linger on it for long.]
I wonder if others think like you, too. That does make a lot of sense, huh? Even if right or wrong isn't easy.
Master Blue might even admire that sort of trait in a person.
Yes. [She seems to believe that, at least.] There are still other matters the Master has to attend to, but I think that kind of attitude will definitely help. All we ask is for your patience.

Guests have an impact on the things that happen during these events, Mr. Thymos. That, unfortunately, is out of our hands.

You get it?

[That. Surprises him. He may be idealistic, but that doesn't mean he expects plenty of others will be, too.]
I think a lot of people think this way, or they could, if they tried. But if Master Blue wants to talk, I'm listening!
