Then...find a master who will let you choose! Your current master would let you have extra time, right? That doesn't seem fair when you're the one serving them and doing your tasks.
It's not quite that easy. [ he loves his current aruji. he won't abandon them like that. ] I think even if our master would like us to do as we wish, others would not allow us to roam free. [ after all.... technically they are government property. ]
At the end of the day, we are still just swords given flesh. I don't doubt they could easily take it away from us as easily as they gifted it.
If they were just gonna take it away from you, they shouldn't have given you time to develop your own memories with your bodies. If that makes sense. ...I know you know that but it just sounds kind of cruel to be at the will of someone else.
It's very possible they just see us as the objects we are. [ he's not too bothered by it since he is in fact. A Sword first and foremost. just ignore that weird feeling in his gut when he thinks about it too hard ]
