DOCTECTIVES RULEBOOK

PROFESSORS & THE DOCTOR
It's an ordinary Monday. Whether you rose with the sun or enjoyed a little lie in, the day proceeds as it has just like the days before it. However, sometime in the early afternoon you soon feel an increasing sense of curiosity that compels you to open the nearest door. No matter where you are, this door leads you to a small, cozy office. The fireplace crackles, soft lights illuminate the furniture around the room, and the three members of Master Blue's staff immediately rise to their feet.
"Hello everyone!"
ROLE INFORMATION
As the Doctor:
Every Monday, the Doctor will meet with the staff and be given the opportunity to grant two players protection for the week. One name may be submitted to protect a victim from a monstrous foe, and the other name may be submitted to protect a victim from a kill by human means. The Doctor may not grant these two forms of immunity to the same person, however.
Should the Doctor choose to protect someone and that person is selected as a victim, the Doctor's name will be provided as the victim and they will be given the change to fight back against the killer. They may or may not survive this encounter.
The choices must be made at the time of the meeting. The Doctor only gets one meeting per week and they must choose wisely who they wish to protect. The Doctor also has the option not to submit their choices.
As the Professor:
Professors will be allowed to choose one guest to learn of their whereabouts and ongoings in the mansion. The Professors must agree on who this person is, as they are only allowed one choice per week. Once the Professors have selected a pick, the staff will provide them with a list of guests their pick has spoken with in the past week, locations they have visited, and other relevant information.
Professors will also be able to send one anonymous message to one guest in the game per week. This person may not be the same as their other pick, and the Professors do not have to agree on a recipient. Should a note not be sent that week, the opportunity will be lost.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
The Professors & the Doctor will be allowed to ask questions about the ongoings of the mansion. They will also be able to receive small hints should they perform well, including game mechanics, locations and more. However, the staff have final say as to what information is shared. Be sure to pick your questions wisely!
While teamwork is encouraged, it's not required. That decision is up to you.

Yeah...it's like that sometimes. [But there's a nod.] What sort of questions do you have for me?
no subject
Gotta find a creative way to cool people down about the videos.
A couple of things. I heard that we can request extra items. Could I get some batteries for my camera?
And... Luna. If she does manage to get a hit, how can we protect her? We're all working as a team now, after all.
no subject
Batteries? Um...yeah, I guess! The quality on your camera might be a little different than what you're expecting though. Is that okay?
[As for Luna...] ...if you're working as a team, you'll know as soon as Luna does. You'll have time to prepare before things happen. And we'll probably have another meeting if something does happen.
no subject
Well, I'll take it. Will it be able to capture and playback curfew activity?
[ hmmm.... ] Alright. You said you'd give us tools, right?
no subject
It might be able to work, but probably not for very long. That's the only problem I can see. [Like 10 second clips, mostly.] And normally we don't give out tools to people who want to harm others, but...this is a different case.
no subject
Any way to make it motion or sound activated? Since I'll be out for the night.
Maybe we could get some robot armor for Luna.
no subject
I'll see what I can do though. It might just have be on a timer or something, I don't know if we can alter something like that. But you can always tinker in the lab and see if you can fix it maybe?
...I don't know if a full set of armor would be accessible right now.
no subject
[ because he'll do it. he'll dunk. ]
I'm not much of a tinkerer. But I suppose I could give it a try...... maybe with your help. [ or like, someone who knows shit. he is really bad at electronics ]
How about something to protect her main circuitry?
no subject
I'm not really that great at it either, but we can look together and see what we can come up with. [Or they'll break it, whatever.] As for protection...we'll see what we can do. There's only so much we can provide you for things like this, but given your role in everything we can at least try.
no subject
[ they will try their hardest ]
What about weapons?
