RAY.............. ONE DAY WE WILL GET POSITIVE CR........... But that day isn't today because Akechi is a piece of shit.

Real talk, tho. I was not joking when I said that Brilith got stuck at Rank 3, and could have potentially gotten the lore if their CR didn't do a swan dive into the void. Like... Initially, Akechi liked Brilith decently enough! She was polite, seemed to have a good head on her shoulders, and seemed invested enough in the wellbeing of the people in this place. She was kind to him the couple of times they spoke before the w3 trial, and that definitely earned her some points. She saw him being shady through memshare, too, so he had no way to hide that aspect of himself from her if it ever came up again.

But! Then Brilith woke up, and Akechi... was not impressed with her behavior during the trial. If she wanted to fall into despair, fine. She wouldn't be the first or the last person in his life to go through that shit. What bothered was the fact that it turned into this big, dramatic mess, where everyone started yelling at her instead of focusing on the trial. Unfortunately, Akechi is the type to prioritize a goal over personal feelings — so he was very :/ at her by the time the trial ended. Still, their previous interactions were... okay enough? So he sought her out after the execution.

... And that is the point where Brilith became an annoyance rather than a person he could potentially care about. Whoops! As far as he was concerned, he hadn't done anything wrong to her, especifically. He felt a lot of whiplash at the sudden change in attitude. She never confronted him to say what her beef with him was, either. So his mood towards her after that point was definitely just: "Oh, wow? Well, fuck you, too." If Brilith wanted to be that way? Alright. She wasn't his problem anymore.

He spent the rest of their stay at the house being highkey annoyed by everything she did. I won't lie: He checked her on w4 because he was extremely salty at her, and all his detective picks were the people he was most annoyed with at the time. Alas, Brilith turned out to be clear. So he had to put up with her continued existence for the rest of the game. He didn't seek her out beyond fact checking for the trials after that point. Mostly, because he didn't want to bother putting up a polite front for someone who, from his perspective, abruptly decided to be a major bitch towards him. Was this petty and hypocritical of him? Yeah. Does he care? Haha, absolutely not.

Bottom line is, he would give Brilith to the house for free if he could. He has no time to deal with someone who wants to dissent out of nothing but sheer pettiness, yeah? Goodbye forever, Brilith.
