PROFESSORS RULEBOOK

PROFESSORS

It's an ordinary Tuesday. Whether you rose with the sun or enjoyed a little lie in, the day proceeds as it has just like the days before it. However, sometime in the early afternoon you soon feel an increasing sense of curiosity that compels you to open the nearest door. No matter where you are, this door leads you to a small, cozy office. The fireplace crackles, soft lights illuminate the furniture around the room, and the three members of Master Blue's staff immediately rise to their feet.

"Greetings, Professor!"

ROLE INFORMATION

Every Tuesday, Professors will be allowed to choose one guest to learn of their whereabouts and ongoings in the mansion. The Professors must agree on who this person is, as they are only allowed one choice per week. Once the Professors have selected a pick, the staff will provide them with a list of guests their pick has spoken with in the past week, locations they have visited, and other relevant information.

Professors will also be able to send one anonymous message to one guest in the game per week. This person may not be the same as their other pick, and the Professors do not have to agree on a recipient. Should a note not be sent that week, the opportunity will be lost.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

The Professors will be allowed to ask questions about the ongoings of the mansion. They will also be able to receive small hints should they perform well, including game mechanics, locations and more. However, the staff have final say as to what information is shared. Be sure to pick your questions wisely!

While teamwork is encouraged, it's not required. That decision is up to you.

Haha, is that so? [No, Mammon. No.] In any case, this marks the beginning of an [hm] interesting partnership. I hope we get along.

You and me both, human.

[He sticks a hand out to shake.]

Where do ya wanna start?
miscakes: (106)

[personal profile] miscakes 2020-02-26 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
[Right. He'll accept that handshake... with his leech-free hand, probably, assuming Mammon is right handed.]

Peach-san and Plum-san both said they would investigate whoever we request, yes? I believe it would be more efficient to consider those who are evasive or difficult to get along with. That is to say, people we wouldn't be able to extract information from through simple conversation.

When I think of someone like that, Meltryllis-san comes to mind. [Has Melt activated his petty? You know it!] Is there anyone else you think fits that description, Mammon-san? We can only pick one, but it's good to consider our options.
mammoney: (krone)

[personal profile] mammoney 2020-02-26 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
Meltryllis...

[He kind of looks a little :/ at that.]

She's actually not that bad. She just hates humans like you. So me and her, we really get each other! She is a bit secretive, yeah, but I dunno if she's super secretive enough for her to check her out.

[But its a thought, at least.]

What about that, uh, Asch guy? The one who kept sayin' "Alpha Rat" during the trial. He seems like a huuuuuge asshole. Like, I don't even know of anyone who likes him! Not even the dog!
miscakes: (121)

[personal profile] miscakes 2020-02-26 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
[Ah. He holds a hand up, as if trying to placate him.]

It's not to say I have anything against her. That's just my honest assessment of her character. She strikes me as the kind to keep her cards close to her chest. In a situation like this, she would be smart to do so.

[So! It's a thought.]

Asch-san... Doesn't he strike you as the type who would shout their secrets in the heat of the moment? I bet we could get anything out of him after he's sufficiently riled up.
mammoney: (franc)

[personal profile] mammoney 2020-02-26 02:15 am (UTC)(link)
I guess...

[Don't go against his inhuman buddy(?) bro. >8(]

...He kind of does, now that you say it. Hey, let's do it! Let's tie him up and torture him a little for answers!!

[NO]
miscakes: (049)

[personal profile] miscakes 2020-02-26 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
[Look... Listen... He's just saying she's shady in a SMART way? Take that as a compliment, gosh.

At that, though. Um.]

—Are you insane? [BRUH.] We are not going to resort to torture! As a detective, I won't allow it!
mammoney: (shekel)

[personal profile] mammoney 2020-02-26 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
Awwww, why not? Sheesh, you're just like this human I know... [A pause.] We have to do this some dumb human way and ask questions? Not even a little torture?

[PWEASE???]
miscakes: (057)

[personal profile] miscakes 2020-02-26 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
Absolutely not! My sense of justice won't allow it. Furthermore, do you understand the amount of trouble you would be in after resorting to something so barbaric? We'll rely on our wits and nothing else.

[AKECHI, LIKE A HYPOCRITE: NO!!!]
mammoney: (peso)

[personal profile] mammoney 2020-02-26 02:49 am (UTC)(link)
...Wow, you sound exactly like Satan, except Satan is actually fun sometimes.

[And he supports torture!!!]
miscakes: (122)

[personal profile] miscakes 2020-02-26 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
[.........................]

Excuse me?
mammoney: (krone)

[personal profile] mammoney 2020-02-26 02:56 am (UTC)(link)
[i hate this]

You heard what I said. You and Satan are like, peas in a pod! Total stuck-up nerds!
miscakes: (133)

[personal profile] miscakes 2020-02-26 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
[............... CLOSES HIS EYES.]

... I suppose this means you have no other objections to checking Meltryllis-san.

[MOVING ON!!]

I should remind you we have to decide on an anonymous message to send, as well.
mammoney: (ouguiya)

[personal profile] mammoney 2020-02-26 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
Sure, go for it if you want. Still sucks I can't torture Asch...

[PARTY POOPER]

Oh, right. [Please don't ask him to think.] Uh. Do we think we need to let someone know somethin'? Like if they're in danger or not? I don't know what else I'd write if we want to keep ourselves secret...
miscakes: (117)

[personal profile] miscakes 2020-02-26 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
Why are you hung up on that...?

[Mammon, you're killing him.

But he nods.]

We have no choice but to play it by ear today, but perhaps it would be a good idea to prepare a message ahead of time in the future. That is, as long as we don't discover something of greater important after investigating someone.
mammoney: (Default)

[personal profile] mammoney 2020-02-26 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
Because torture is fun!

[he is a demon]

I guess... [You are smart, Akechi, of course.] Anyways! Who we writin' to? What we writin'?
miscakes: (121)

[personal profile] miscakes 2020-02-26 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
No.

[NO.]

About that... Why don't we ask the staff to investigate someone for us first, and then decide the body and recipient for the note?
mammoney: (dinar)

[personal profile] mammoney 2020-02-26 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
You need to try it! I'm sure you'd have fun, too.

[NOOOOOOO]

Sure. Let's do it! Even though I'm still against it, but...I guess Melt is our best bet so far...
miscakes: (071)

[personal profile] miscakes 2020-02-26 04:01 am (UTC)(link)
Please stop suggesting illegal activities.

[YOU'RE A MISTAKE, MAMMON.

Sighs!! Aggressively!!]

Very well. If we get nothing out of this, then we'll simply have to do better next week.
mammoney: (Default)

[personal profile] mammoney 2020-02-26 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
[Just. Sticks out his tongue at him.]

Sure thing. As long as I get stuff for this...I'm with ya, detective.

[Wow. So reassuring.]
miscakes: (048)

[personal profile] miscakes 2020-02-26 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
[........... WELL. Coming back to this once they have the notif.]

"Fluctuation levels"...?

[The fuck does that mean.]
mammoney: (shilling)

[personal profile] mammoney 2020-02-26 04:24 am (UTC)(link)
...

[Staring at it a long time.]

What does..."fluctuation" mean............
miscakes: (114)

[personal profile] miscakes 2020-02-26 04:25 am (UTC)(link)
[...]

Is that a serious question?
mammoney: (pound)

[personal profile] mammoney 2020-02-26 04:26 am (UTC)(link)
[Shooting him a glare.]

Yeah, it is! What does it mean? I ain't got all day!
miscakes: (052)

[personal profile] miscakes 2020-02-26 04:31 am (UTC)(link)
[Mammon you are making him AGE a whole ass TEN YEARS by the SECOND.

He sighs. Slowly, like he's talking to a child:]

It's an irregular rising and falling in number. A variation. Problem is, I don't know what this is referring to.
