Tell me everything you know about Blue? Tell me why we're here? Tell me how we get home?

[his tone is wry, a bit frustrated, but he certainly isn't upset at her]

I dunno, Peach. I kinda agree with what Lio said-- about not wanting to be a part of anyone's game or experiment or puzzle.

[he tilts his head so he's looking at her, cheek pressed against his knees now]

So the more layers we find, the more frustrated I get.

[She looks a little nervous for some reason, but...she begins to write. ]

aren't games supposed to be fun? I don't know if I'd call it a game...and don't people say that you have to ask more questions to find the answers?

[and he seems a bit glad that she doesn't think so, either. he lifts his head again and lets out a huff]

If nobody in this mansion has ever turned into monsters before, how did you know where to look to create an antidote?

[he has actually been wondering that for a while]

we didn't at first :\ but we spent a long time on that friday doing lots of research and the master tends to know a little more than we do.

it was...a lot of reading and testing and proofing.

[he looks a bit sheepish and apologetic, actually. the smile he wears softens]

Akechi told me that antidote was one of Blue's prototypes. How would Master Blue have known about the monsters?

Master Blue learned at the same time we did, but the Master has also met way more people and experienced more things than we have. because of that, the Master was able to look into other resources a lot faster and save us a lot of time by picking things to try.

I think the monsters were a surprise to all of us.

[survivaltricks]

Your Master has access to ancient ingredients to use in an antidote?

[he isn't sure whether to be impressed or terrified. . . maybe impressed because Blue came up with that antidote pretty fast]

Peach, is Master Blue a doctor?

[cluedin]

[She looks amused.]

Master Blue is older than we are, you know. And Master Blue is a Master of many things! It comes with a lot of studying and knowledge.

[Peach still admires that about Master Blue, apparently.]

Did the Master pass down their knowledge to you?

[cluedin]

[A wave of her hand back and forth in a so-so motion.]

yes and no? Master Blue has taught us things, but we've learned a lot on our own, too. that's why we're working on things as quickly as we can.

[he lapses into silence here, eyes slipping shut as he thinks about what to say next]

[he opens his eyes again, head tilted at her]

I still don't know what to think about Master Blue. I do get the impression they're trying to help, but I don't know how much I can trust them.

But if there is anyone here I do trust, it's you.

[A long pause.]

[She writes something and then scratches it out, but she rewrites it in.]

Because you've been completely honest with me since we've arrived here.

[Monday was rough but it didn't knock his belief in her!!]

And I believe you want to help us. That you want us to figure out a way to stop these transformations and solve this mystery.

I believe you want what's best for us, even if we don't yet know what that is.

. . . I get the impression you want us to trust your Master, too. Is that right?

[cluedin]

[That's fair. She's scratching one of her ears before she nods slowly.]

I wish there was more I could say to the Master's thoughts, but that's always hard to say. but I've always trusted Master Blue. more importantly you guys have to trust each other too, just like I said.

You know, in the very beginning, I actually thought you and your sisters didn't like them. Or at the very least. . . didn't agree with what they were doing.

But I think I just read your reactions to questions about them wrong.

[He can't see half of her face but the top-half looks like it's smiling? Even if her ear flicks on its own after that.]

plum's like that with everybody but she cares for the Master, too. so does pumpkin. sometimes the Master's way of thinking is a little foolish and things don't always come across right but efforts are made.

Master Blue tends to know way more than people may think...it may not always be a conscious selection, but the potential's always there. sorry if that's a little confusing.
