[When Peach approaches the door to Four and Michiru's room, she can't say that she's too surprised that Haruka's here. The girl probably heard the sound of the bell around Peach's neck from the hall, but all the same Peach knocks...waits a few seconds...and then enters. She stands up straight and gives Haruka a smile even while checking for other occupants in the room.]
You rang, miss?

[ Haruka waits until Peach enters to acknowledge the fact that she has company. She's sitting in a handsome chair, dressed like some British gentleman, holding a book (that she is pretending to read). Haruka closes it and sets it down, smiling warmly at her guest. ]
Ah, come in. It's just us.
[ Haruka gestures to the seat across from her. Between them is a tea set, prepared by Haruka herself. ]
I thought we could get to know each other. If we're going to spend so much time in close proximity I don't want the two of us to be strangers.
[She'll even be polite enough to close the door behind her. If Haruka's requested a private meeting, the least she can do is accommodate (especially as head of staff. It's her job to really get to know the guests.)]
That's very kind of you. [And she'll happily take a seat! The bell jingles. It's fine.] Though I do wonder if it's a bit inappropriate for our guests to be serving us. I wouldn't have minded preparing tea for us.
[Oh. She blinks for a moment, staring at Haruka briefly before she smiles just a bit. I hate you, I hate Haruka, I hate this!!!]
I see...I can confidently say you're the only one of our guests who has invited me to tea. [Ergo, yeah, Haruka will officially stand out.] But you really don't have to thank us! We're just doing our jobs...and part of my job is to get to know our guests as well.
Do you do this often? [She's not gonna clarify if she means host tea parties or makes girls feel a doki.]
It's not a matter of how often... but whether or not there's someone around who's worth the effort. Does that make sense?
[ Haruka pulls her hand away and pours them both tea. ]
Can you tell me a bit more about yourself? The things you like, the things you don't likeāĀ and what exactly your job entails? I know we got a brief rundown, but I'm interested in the details.
It makes sense, yes. [She's watching the tea be poured even as she's thinking that over.] I suppose all of our guests are worth the effort in a way, but I can understand people having different scales to work off of.
[Peach has to like everyone and generally likes people, but like. Sometimes you can like people less than other people. It's fine. Nevertheless...]
I'm the head of staff for the mansion. We've been working for Master Blue for some time, but I've always been the butler, the cook, and the supervisor for my sisters. Not to mention guest relations. [She'll take her tea cup, thank you.] I do like getting to know our guests though. We've seen so many over the years.
[And if she's purposefully focusing on her job for this conversation, she does not say so.]
[ She's dancing around the question. At least, that's what Haruka assumes. No matter, she'll drop it for the momentāĀ it was unbecoming to push a lady into doing something she didn't want to do.
There were other methods to get answers, after all. ]
Do you have any types of guests you prefer over others? Loud or quiet? Short or tall? Blondes or brunettes?
[ Haruka sets her cup down, leans her face against her palm and smirks at her companion. ]
[Thanks Haruka, you're a peach. I didn't realize that play on words until I typed it and now I'm not fixing it. Regardless, Peach takes a sip of her tea as she thinks on that.]
I don't think anyone's ever asked me that before. [Odd.] But I can't say I really have a preference. I like to keep an open mind. [She gives Haruka a polite smile though.] Though I've noticed that the men here are the ones causing most of the fights and destroying the house which...isn't great. Actually it'd be great if they stopped doing that.

Please don't concern yourself with things like that. Think of this as a thank you for being such courteous hosts. And besidesāĀ
[ haruka reaches over and places a hand on top of Peach's. ]
ā even if it is inappropriate, I can't think of it as a completely bad thing. Not if the gesture means I'll stick out among the rest of your guests.
