I guess that's fair...I've never had an assistant before so I never really knew. [She'll play along, at least, before they settle ands he's serving pie for both of them.]

I did used to be a lawyer, you know. I'd do a good job pointing and yelling and slamming tables to argue why you shouldn't get in trouble.

I wouldn't say I quit. More like I was fired. I lost my badge.... so maybe I'm not much of a defender anyway.

That we'll all be revived when this is over. Is that true?

When'd he tell you that? Or, I guess, how did that come up?

It came up when he was being rude to Luna. He said we'd all be revived at the end, except for him because he's already dead.

[ now he waits patiently for peach's response ]

...Akechi sometimes says things that I think he believes are true in hearing things in the way that he wants to hear them. Just so that he can argue against them. But of course you could be revived in the end.

What about Goro himself? And the others who were dead before coming here? Could they be revived?

...it's potentially possible, yes. With time and effort.

[She's humming to herself then.] Would they want to be revived, you think?

They might not say so... but I think they do. And I think they deserve the opportunity more than they think they do.
