Crystal chandeliers hang from the ceiling, glinting in the soft, glowing light of the room. The sounds of an orchestra fill the air, and as the guests open their eyes they'll find themselves seated at a table in an elaborate ballroom. Before them lays a feast fit for a king, treats from far and wide in plentiful amounts. The ballroom floor has been prepared for dancing, and the curtains are drawn back from the windows to reveal a night sky full of stars.
Regardless of their previous situation, all guests will find that their belongings have been taken from them and they have been dressed in suits and ballgowns for the evening. Though their pockets are empty, all will find a blue and silver invitation in their hand with their name and RSVP attached.

Everyone present has entered this house willingly, though not a single person can quite remember the circumstances that led them here. Guests may begin to wonder why they're here, or perhaps they will start searching for familiar faces among the group, but without warning the doors of the ballroom slowly begin to open. The music ends on a sweet, soft note and the lights brighten as three young women enter. Strolling through the room side by side, they make their way to the head of the table to gather the attention of all as they speak in unison.

bluesclues, an upcoming murdergame set to open February 14th. This will be a murder mystery game intended to accommodate no more than 40 players. Blues Clues is a game that deals with haunts and spooks in a mysterious mansion. Master Blue has invited all characters to attend a dinner party, but things aren't quite as they seem upon arrival. All characters will find themselves powerless and without their belongings, leaving them with very little to start with. Characters will be challenged weekly and will have to choose if they wish to work together or against one another to find the best escape route and unravel the mysteries of this house.
HIGHLIGHTS
With that introduction to pique your curiosity, here are some highlights to keep in mind:
🐾 Characters will appear as if they've been pulled from their current canon point without missing a beat. They will not know how they got there at first until they learn upon game start.
🐾 Tentatively there is not a current age limit being enforced for applications. This, of course, will be re-addressed on a case-by-case basis to make sure that, considering the nature of the game, player comfort isn't sacrificed in the spirit of creative freedom. Likewise, characters of any origin, shape, or form may be applied to this game, so long as there's a way that they can be killed. If you're unsure of what you may have in mind, feel free to ask!
🐾 Powers will be nerfed upon a character's arrival. While there will not be a way to earn their powers back, the manor may reward them with something else.
🐾 Character cast caps are set at three per canon.
🐾 While we have a rolling mafia in place, we will also be having murder proposals and other opportunities open for characters to kill at any given week. Being a murdergame, incentives and even explicit bribes may be offered to the characters at various opportunities to motivate them into spilling blood. OOCly, we may be calling for volunteers to keep the game rolling in the case of any slow weeks.
🐾 With that in mind, while it's easier to have a character that would be a little bloodthirsty and ready to kill, this is not entirely necessary! Characters should have some negative qualities to draw from, but pures will be able to murder just as well as antagonists.

This game will run on an invite-only basis with a limited +1 system in place. If you received an invite from Andie, Ty or Zia, you're golden. If any slots are still available after our initial selection, we will allow players to hit us up with suggestions for anyone they may wish to invite. If any slots still remain after this point in time, invitations will be extended to allow for additional +1s.
