DOCTOR RULEBOOK
DOCTOR
It's an ordinary Monday. Whether you rose with the sun or enjoyed a little lie in, the day proceeds as it has just like the days before it. However, sometime in the early afternoon you soon feel an increasing sense of curiosity that compels you to open the nearest door. No matter where you are, this door leads you to a small, cozy office. The fireplace crackles, soft lights illuminate the furniture around the room, and the three members of Master Blue's staff immediately rise to their feet.
"Hello, Doctor!"
ROLE INFORMATION
As the Doctor:
Every Monday, the Doctor will meet with the staff and be given the opportunity to grant two players protection for the week. One name may be submitted to protect a victim from a monstrous foe, and the other name may be submitted to protect a victim from a kill by human means. The Doctor may not grant these two forms of immunity to the same person, however.
Should the Doctor choose to protect someone and that person is selected as a victim, the Doctor's name will be provided as the victim and they will be given the change to fight back against the killer. They may or may not survive this encounter.
The choices must be made at the time of the meeting. The Doctor only gets one meeting per week and they must choose wisely who they wish to protect. The Doctor also has the option not to submit their choices.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
The Doctor will be allowed to ask questions about the ongoings of the mansion. They will also be able to receive small hints should they perform well, including game mechanics, locations and more. However, the staff have final say as to what information is shared. Be sure to pick your questions wisely!

[Being called "doctor" isn't really the weird part here, after all.]

Can we get you anything?
no subject
I don't understand. Expecting me for... what, exactly?

Are you talking about the rules for murder?

[THERE'S A GLIMMER OF HOPE
that fades in like ten seconds]
...But no, that doesn't make any sense. "At least one of your own will take the life of another." And you just said we can't break the rules. Which... means that someone still has to die.
Correct?

You're... really going to let me do that?

...I... take it more medical supplies are still not going to be an option.
[if you're gonna call her doctor LET HER DO DOCTOR STUFF]
Would I be able to request anything else, um... specific while in here with the three of you?
no subject
We may be able to provide more for you, in thanks for aiding us in this endeavor.
no subject
Okay. I'll keep it mind.
For right now, um... could I... actually ask for a pen light?
no subject
I thought you wished for medical supplies, Doctor?
[ which technically a pen light is but plum ..... is not a nurse ]
no subject
That aside, I think it might just be a safe thing to have for now.
no subject
[ which is to say somehow, when walking out of this room, Luna is going to be holding a small box with a medical pen inside! it has infinite battery life somehow and it is the color of your choice for my own hilarity ]
Was there anything else?
no subject
I, um... I do want to ask if there are limitations on what I can request. Not for medical supplies... I mean, in general.
no subject
Everyone has limitations, Doctor. This includes the house staff. We will do our best to meet your requests regardless.
no subject
...
Considering what I've been asked to prepare for, perhaps I should be a little more proactive.
