Nothing you did caused you to become a zombie, Hunter. It's whatever is causing these transformations that just decided to pick something apart inside you that should have been left alone.

That subconscious urge that it seems to be targeting. Even if it's not an urge to kill...maybe it preys on fear. I'm not really sure.

I'm saying that I think everyone has something inside of them that makes them susceptible. It was unfortunately you this last week, just like it was Miss Meltryllis the week before. It almost feels like it's randomizing its targets, too.

Well... Either some people are more susceptible than others, or the targets are random. Isn't it sort of a one or the other kind of situation?

Not if the target is chosen and the susceptibility rate increases...there's a science to all of this, I just don't know what it is yet.

It's just - the two don't typically intersect, do they? I mean, there's science fiction and there's fantasy, those are two completely different genres most of the time!
