Well, I guess it doesn't matter since we're not going to let that happen.
[Still, though, he looks curious.]
If that's the case, though, in a hypothetical and definitely not real situation where this happens over again, wouldn't you be able to pick people who are older than us...?
I observe souls. The ones that are closest to the necessary traits, those are the guests. [ they seem to be thinking about it ] Ken Amada was a good pick.
Okay, I have numerous questions about why you picked some of these people, but first off - you get why bringing someone young here is bad, right? Or has nobody explained that to you either...?
I know they've helped, that isn't the point. The point is that - I mean, even if someone is helpful, there are a lot of reasons they shouldn't have to be put in a situation where they could easily get murdered. Being a kid is probably the biggest reason.
I guess it's just... Okay, so like. Let's take Luna and Ken as examples. Maybe based on their personality or soul or whatever, they were good choices.
[He hesitates for a moment, trying to find a way to explain this to them that might break through.]
And sure, nobody should be put in this situation, but if you're talking about a situation where people are definitely going to die, do you see why it's unfair to bring someone who's barely had a chance to live their life? Like, despite what people have told you, 11 is really young.
...Which means he's a lot younger than she is, and it's not a good thing that he's here. Which, yes, I know that it's not a good thing any of us are here, but it's worse for someone like him.
[ the question seems to take them by surprise and they. stay quiet for a bit. ]
... Leave?
[ they're not questioning themselves getting to leave (well. not entirely) or repeating, they're just. they'll leave. that is the main thing on their mind. ]

And Luna is not young?
[ they seem especially baffled by this for some reason? ]

I leave or we die. That is the end.
[ we, as in, the house and them both. ]
