I'm gonna take a wild guess and say it was probably the staff who want to torture us for some reason that none of us have been able to figure out.

[A small shrug.]

Once I was there, it was like... There's no cell service, no mail carrier, stuff like that. There isn't exactly a way to let anyone outside know anything is wrong. But... Can I ask why you wanted to know, all of a sudden?

...it's kind of like that for us, I guess. It's happening and we know what sort of things to possibly expect and prepare for, but we don't know if or when it'll happen until it does, and we don't know all of the reasons why.

It's hard to imagine that it was one of you three who decided to bring us here despite the risk. The Master has reasons for hosting these events. We have a week to make preparations for the guests, but...we also know that the reasons aren't malevolent.

Mmhm. Master Blue was supposed to follow the proper protocol for preparations and...things didn't exactly go so well. So there are a lot of things to address now that you're all here. Accommodations, lost items, things like that.

Do you know why he was in such a rush to get things started?

Master Blue is Master Blue. Whenever a new idea comes, the invitations are sent out. But the Master does sometimes forget to think things through.

So... The important reason we're all here is because of this new idea he had?

Okay. So we got summoned into this mansion where we're all at risk by being possessed by rat monsters and a variety of other stuff that nobody can guess yet, there are mysterious forces stopping us from leaving, there's a recluse who doesn't show their face but is charge of all of this, apparently unexplained things have happened here before, weird things have been happening to our senses and I've seen another version of myself running around...

Am I good in assuming all of this is happening because we're in a haunted house?

Well you're right that all of that's happened so far...[But that seems to be where her thought trails off.]
