And he uses them to hastily start tying them around any dogs left if they didn't get picked up or get out of the way, and if he can once they're loose. HE ISN'T LEAVING ANY DOG BEHIND. He's wrapping every single one and yelling for more shit out of the tree until he can get the last one.
If he falls, he falls, but he isn't giving up until he's got the last dog, and then he's going to jump on Toi's waist because holy shit.]
[The scarf Huaisang's working with leashes the dog and yanks it up! It yips in surprise but the scarf swings on its own to yeet the dog and reconnect to another scarf. Goodbye! Onward it goes over the bridge and down the path. Anya and Huaisang will find the scarves are silky and sturdy, giving them enough length to swing themselves along. Time for some acrobatics practice!
The good news is that Toi frees another dog and he's holding onto it! The bad news is Jin Ling is also successful in tying up the other six dogs who are also yeeted across the bridge just like the others. However, even with Anya holding his non-dog arm, with Toi holding onto a dog and now also with Jin Ling holding onto his waist...
...down they go. The sled, Toi, Jin Ling, and the dog drop straight down toward the river. Maybe getting back on the sled will help, but bits of wood and jewelry are falling around them with the snow and flower petals. Try to steer, boys!]

and if they both make it to the other side, she's going to try to round up all the dogs so they're not wandering off,,]
[Meanwhile, he grabs a good hold of Toi's jacket and tries to force Toi to stay in the sled. He also tries to stay on it, too, but he's worried with the reins and the hand, trying to keep it upright and in control. Despite being such a huge brat, he's actually pretty good with being headstrong enough to really take it all by the horns.]
The water below! [he yells.] If it's cold, don't inhale when you hit it! [If they don't fucking die first. SANTA, PLEASE, YOUR DOG SLED.] You'll choke on the water!
[Huaisang and Anya can tarzan their way through the scarves, following the yips and confused noises of the dogs being yeeted. The scarves seem to loosen if they hold on for too long, so hopefully they're hurrying! They're all dropped on the path gently after a bit of travel where the trees thing out and the snow begins to stop following only to be replaced by a large grassy valley. At the bottom of this massive hill, there's a castle. Anya's probably smart to round up the dogs because they're definitely starting to scatter mostly in the direction of said-castle. The winter's gone and it's a spring kind of day, flowers popping up under the dogs' feet as the echoing howl continues to beckon the dogs.
Meanwhile, two morons are falling to their death. But since they're choosing to hold onto the dog, as they're nearing the bottom...
...the dog's fur expands and catches in the wind. This dog spreads out with its paws splayed, spreadeagle and acting as a parachute. The sled hits the water with a heavy sort of lop, and down the river it goes! The parachute-cloud-dog sits proudly, wagging its tail and waiting for praise.

Now that they're zipping along this river though, they may notice that the water seems to glisten almost like it's glittery? A closer look will reveal that there seem to be sequins embedded at the bottom, rhinestone-river rocks in the way. They're still going to have to steer the sled, but they may want to figure out what to do next as they go on a whitewater raft trip.]
Oh- it looks a little like home... I wonder where this is meant to be.
[mountainous areas are nice, ok... he glances behind them with a worried little frown, then shakes his head and tries to help anya herd the dogs along toward this castle.]

Do you see any way back up on the bank? A--the bottom! It's all stones... [Wrow.] What is this place? Why is there snow, and dogs, and tailoring things?!
[As Anya and Huaisang walk to the castle, they'll find that more flowers sprout in their path, and the dogs seem to grow bigger every few feet. At first, it isn't noticeable, but the closer they get to the castle the more obvious it becomes. Their furs become silkier and they become a little brighter, eyes reflecting like small diamonds. Some of the patterns even begin to look like other animals like leopard, snake skin, etc. Huaisang has Mack, Scooper, and Yodel while Anya is in control of Nana, Dutchess, Diesel and Sniff. Their collars (made of real leather, it seems) become easier to read.
The items in their pockets also begin to grow. The scissors grow to the size of a sword, and the spools of thread become as large as grenades.
Meanwhile, with team dumbass, the river's still rollicking along and sending them down the path. They may spot other animals such as deer and foxes made of crystal at the river's edge going by. Since Jin Ling is petting the dog, he will see that the dog's name is Demon.
Anyway! There's no waterfall, but the area around them begins to grow darker as the trees close in, the sound of bullfrogs loud and echoing. Even though they're separated from the others, they can hear the strange howling. The sled seems to be doing okay, but every now and then they may realize it's a little further in the river than it was before. It seems to be sinking? Bad. There are scarf-vines to climb back up the mountain if they jump off, but ahead there's the opening to a lagoon. They have a choice of escape routes, but they should probably pick quickly.]
[but he's just kind of glancing all around on the way, humming curiously as he watches the flowers sprout at their feet... and then he glances back to larger dogs?? nie huaisang gasps a little, grasp tightening on the harness.]

Demon... [Wow. Hate that. But why does it look so cute? Forget it. Just because it's named Demon doesn't mean it isn't a good dog...... Just like Fairy.] The sled...
There could be ghost or even yao in the lagoon, and the sled is sinking. [This sucks. There's a sliver of him who wants to see what the fuck is up with the lagoon, but the other part of him can just see Anya and Huaisang eating it because of danger.] ...We can't leave Demon. We have to find a way to get Demon back up the mountain, too.
[Whatever, he's going to jump out and wait for Toi, trying to coax Demon along, too.]
[The dogs are big enough to ride! They are, in fact, about the size of battle mounts and as they draw closer to the castle their battle armor begins to materialize. It's form-fitting and custom-sized for each dog, and they're lopping along like they're waiting for Huaisang and Anya to get on board. As they get closer to the castle, the dogs seem to be veering away from the main entrance and heading for what appears to be a wide open area under a few bridges connecting the buildings. As they pass under the bridges though, they'll hear the mutterings of people in the castle. Some are commanding each other to bring up the drawbridges. Others are saying to prepare the horses and grab weapons from the armory. And still others speak whispers about the terrifying queen who's on the way, ready to strike on this castle to conquer its king.
So that's cool. Huaisang and Anya will find that the dogs seem to be heading toward a stable-esque area, but they're free to split off and explore the castle at any time! It sounds like they may not be able to leave right away anyhow.
As for the other two, the sled continues to sink, but as Jin Ling jumps out he'll feel himself slipping a little on the riverbed. Demon hops out of the sled, too, and that helps stop the sinking. Instead, he puffs up almost like a flotation device. He doggypaddles to Jin Ling, tail whipping in the water like a boat rudder. The water gets a little deeper, about waist-height as they continue since I assume Jin Ling is going to follow the sled until Toi makes a decision, and there are ripples in the water that seem to come from movements up ahead in the lagoon of something drawing closer.]
[oh, hm... maybe they should stay out of sight for now? huaisang definitely glances up, awed for a moment at how Much the people he can catch glimpses of are... but he turns back to anya, keeping his voice low, fan snapping open to cover the lower half of his face as he leans in.]
Should we keep following them, do you think, or...? I'm not certain we want to deal with them, if they're preparing for something, though maybe...
[on the other hand, maybe they should help? that might help them? he frowns thoughtfully as he glances back up.]

[it seems safer than to have a panic about one dog (Demon) missing? so she's going to head toward the stables if only to see who's in charge and who she can notify about the dog that's still on its way]
[Toi is so STUPID, he thinks. But he doesn’t have any time to say it because his eyes widen at the news] Hold onto Demon! [Which he reaches up himself to also do, resting one arm over and waiting for Toi to catch up.
And then turning and wading furiously for the bank with Demon and Toi before they get eaten by a shark made out of a bundle of fucking Disney resort towels.]
[The jackets seem to have shifted the longer they're near the castle, changing from winter and bulky warm things to something sleek and form-fitting. Anya's sleeve seem to have zippers in them, and since Huaisang is carrying his he won't see the studded back that's formed a pattern like a shield just yet. The dogs are bounding along, and since Anya's heading for the stables she and Huaisang will see a beautiful young man with long blonde hair and piercing green eyes saddling up a few horses.]
"What ho! You best prepare for the queen and her army. Go, go, why are you still here? Your armor awaits in the armoire."
[He gestures to another part of the castle where several people appear to be filing in and out, each leaving in a different outfit than they entered with. The dogs immediately make a beeline for the man, barking and slobbering all the way. Returned to their original habitat, Huaisang and Anya will note that the dogs are now the size of bears and are being fit with armor by other stablehands, teeth sharp and barks booming. They know what they're about, but they're also wagging their tails and getting distracted by the two newcomers. They did good! They brought two new fighters for the king's army!
Downriver, Toi, Jin Ling and Demon are swimming in the water as quickly as they can toward the bank. Cutting through the water at a quick pace is a shark...but it's made out of buttons? Not entirely intimidating until its mouth opens to reveal rows of zippered-teeth that immediately snap at whichever boy is closest. The scarf-vines drift down and as they get close to the bank, one snaps forward to wrap around Demon's collar to pull him up. Toi and Jin Ling will have to reach on their own as the shark rears back for another attack.]
[he can't see the back, but he does notice the shift in bulk, unfolding it to look at it; maybe it's best to fit in, so okay, he'll put it on now. That's fine.
he jumps slightly when they're addressed, a little nervous-- but Local Hot Man doesn't seem to think they're enemies after all, so! huaisang hastily bows.]
