The button is pressed! ...At first, for about thirty second, nothing happens. And then, suddenly, the sink starts to sink (haha) into the floor, vanishing from view. Hiding behind it was apparently a colorful plastic tunnel slide, not unlike the kind you'd see in a water park. It looks dark inside, and they can't tell where it ends.
[ The trio step (or, well. sit.) into the tunnel and start their slide! It is wet, and the water is nearly freezing... but not too long into it, it is not nearly as dark as they might have expected. In fact, it gets positively trippy. A jaunty little poem echoes around them in the tunnel as they go.
They are going very fast, and for probably far too long a time, but they can see a split path at some point. Which way will Phoenix lean? Right or left? ]
[ Well that's certainly going to help everyone! All good things (was this a good thing) have to end, though, and there is a light at the end of the tunnel... it is coming in fast... where will they land!
Straight into a pool of freezing cold water, apparently. This water is not crystal clear; it's mucky, dirty, and there are ... things... floating in it. It's a little too dark for them to tell what it is currently. Still, they don't seem to be too far from the shore! Time to get their swimmies on if they haven't drowned phoenix with their combined weight. ]
[ yeah it's really hard to swim when two children are clinging to you and also zenitsu is covering your eyes but he tries to go up to the surface and pull them with him. ]
[Swim? On his own, thereby leaving the grownup who can protect him? He thinks not. Zenitsu spits out a mouthful of the water before lowering his arm to rest his hands on Phoenix's shoulders so that he can doggy paddle.]
[ Wow, Zenitsu. I don't walk into your secret tunnel and call the gross water I land on gross.
Now that they've made it to the shore, though, the guys will notice that they seem to be in some sort of... concrete basement? It's a bit too dark to tell properly what is surrounding them, but the floor is definitely concrete. Right next to their landing pool, there is a table with some objects. Mainly, an insane variety of glow sticks, including bracelets, necklaces, wands and even flying discs, all colors of the rainbow! Party time. There is also a small key. ]
[ phoenix just swims with zenitsu's dead weight.... this is fine..... when they get to shore he'll take the key right away then look at the glow sticks.... ]
[There's a nod from this end. He's okay (for now).
Then Zenitsu, too, will go classic with a yellow glow stick, which he shines over the various accessories and then brings out to survey their surroundings. It's kind of dim. Keeping close to Phoenix, he crouches down and raises the stick to the pool. Why the heck did it feel so filthy?]
[ I'm going to assume Phoenix picked blue. Anyway, now they can slightly see around them! The general area looks... well, a little bit like a bunker, actually. The wall behind them, the floor and the ceiling all seem to be made of concrete. The path in front of them is straight forward from the lake.
The good news is, when Zenitsu checks the water, he'll realize it's not sewer water! It's filthy because it's stale, and it looks like debris is floating in it... Oh, and a couple of what look like bones seem to be at the bottom of the pool. ]
[ Maybe they are decorative bones, guys! For atmosphere. So they're going to be fine. Probably. The hallway is empty of anything, and their steps echo in around them... up until they get to a large concrete door that's bolted down with a lock.
Well, they don't really have a choice, but. Wanna use the key? ]

[He's not going to be the one who gets left behind, though. No way! So he clings to Phoenix with his good arm.]

Where's the shore?!
[ just keep swimming, just keep swimming ]

This way!
[He can probably swim faster than the other two because hell yes he's leaving them behind, it's cold and wet and he wants out.
But hey, if he does get to the shore before them, he'll at least offer a hand/crowbar out to help them out?]

W-w-w-where is this? It's so gross!

These could be useful for light.
[ Key and glow sticks added to Court Record. ]

Che! What is this, a rave?
[He'll still take a couple glowsticks and even put on two of the glowing bracelets. All the ones he picks are green too. Gotta go classic.]
Think we ended up in the basement somewhere?

Maybe a bunker of sorts ... Let's keep going.
no subject
...
Yeah, c'mon. There's gotta be a door here somewhere.
[Let's walk this magical path away from the lake and see what we can find.]

Whose bones were those? We're gonna be okay, right?
