but also-- opening the door is probably going to take a couple seconds longer than it normally would because of, uh, no sense of touch. sorry, peach! he gets there eventually, though, and then stares at her in mild surprise once he sees her. huh.]
... Good morning, Peach-san. [how can he say that with a straight face.] I must confess, I wasn't expecting this to work.
[Given my last NPC was Roxas neither can I. But Peach waits patiently! She doesn't mind that it takes Akechi a bit of time to open the door and she's strangely unsurprised by his surprise.]
Good morning! [There's an almost-teasing smile.] Did you pick a bell at random?
He returns her smile with one of his own, though, almost apologetic. Does she want to come in? Because he'll step aside just so they don't chat out in the hallway...]
[Hm! Well, at least she didn't pop up right next to him. That would have been Bad. Instead, he gets to blink in mild surprise at her once he notices she's just Suddenly There.]
[ when Plum shows up to greet Akechi, maybe like ... half a minute after her bell is rung, she is still wearing her special event outfit. Including the braid hair, this is important.
not that he can SEE because he's in his bedroom so she knocks on it first, because that is just being POLITE ]
[THAT'S FINE. Thank you, furries, for having manners. Akechi will answer the door a moment after she knocks, somehow managing to look mildly surprise to see her.]
Plum-san, it's good to see you. [is it.] ... I realized you might be unavailable after I rang the bell. But I'm glad that's not the case.
[Pr...obably......... Booniversity and Scareer Counseling sure did happen and he doesn't trust that nothing was destroyed in the process. They're all messy. It's their brand? Either way, she can step inside if she wants because he'll move aside so they're not talking in the hallway.]
[ she curtsies when he opens the door because that is how it GOES, but: ]
It is fine, sir. The only thing of importance was that the guests enjoyed the game. [ she does not sound like she particularly believes that, but them's the breaks ] Was there something in particular you wished to discuss?
I'm sure they did. [No.] Should we expect more games like that in the future?
[Does he have to worry about being subjected to the mortifying ordeal of being known again... Anyway, once they're inside—]
There is. Though I'm aware it's possible you won't have the answers I need. I hope you won't get too annoyed with me if that's the case. [Because the furries are fucking CRYPTIC and now he has to work with them.] To start... You and your sisters are unaware of what each guest was doing at the time your master transported us here, correct?
[Akechi rings the bell in front of the Master bedroom and...the door swings open? It's a little dark inside, but it seems as though there's something of a living room/guest area that he's entering. He can't quite see yet, but soon he'll hear a soft, echo-y voice as chills run up his spine.]
[... Why did the horror movie vibes just go up by 200%? Don't like that. He will squint through the darkness while reaching for his cellphone, but he won't turn the flashlight on just yet.]
... Yes. [ECHO-Y...] Master Blue?
[Maybe he's about to get vored by the house. That's fine, too.]
Apologies. [The lights flicker on and Akechi finds himself in the middle of a room. And sitting in the middle of the floor is someone who's busy staring up at Akechi.]
[Akechi rings the bell outside of the servants quarters but Peach is actually coming up from behind him. She's wearing the beanie that Plum made for her and the bell on her neck jingles softly, but she stops upon seeing Akechi.]
Hey. [...] I can make us some coffee if you'd like.
I have a few, but I'd like to hear them from you, Detective. [A beat.] We can go to the kitchen if you'd like? Or you can come in, we have a coffee maker in the room.
[ well, it's post mini-event, but Plum hasn't switched outfits yet... so here's nurse plum showing up in the lounge not long after Akechi rings the bell, stitches on display. ]
[The door swings open when Akechi rings the bell, and when he enters he'll find Blue on the floor...making frankly terrible origami creatures. They. They're trying. It's fine.]
[There's a nod and they seem pleased with themselves even if these figures look awful. If Akechi looks at a nearby table though there are three very well-made creations: a pink cat, an orange fox, and a purple rabbit. They were very clearly done by someone who knows what they're doing.]
...she has learned from someone else. [They sound very proud of that fact, too. PLUM IS MAKING FRIENDS :D]

Good evening sir. You rang for me?

[Pleasantly, watching her while leaning against one of the mortuary tables in the center of the room.]
I hope you don't mind the choice in location. There were a few questions I was hoping you could answer for me.
no subject
I don't mind at all, Professor. As usual I'll do my best to answer.
