[mystery dish... i wrote mystery death at first, so i hope peach kills him]

Did you have reason to believe before Thursday that someone would kill?

[STOP]

Does this kind of thing usually happen at Master Blue's events?
oathic: (b10.)

[personal profile] oathic 2020-02-23 09:25 pm (UTC)(link)
And how high is your guest satisfaction at these events, usually...?

[personal profile] oathic 2020-02-23 09:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Then why do you keep hosting them?

Let me guess: you can't say what his reasons for hosting these are.

What will happen to Haruka and Nikki's souls? Since this is a different universe, I assume they won't be sent to Yama for judgment...
oathic: (b7.)

[personal profile] oathic 2020-02-23 10:11 pm (UTC)(link)
So they aren't going to the underworld?
oathic: (b9.)

[personal profile] oathic 2020-02-23 10:22 pm (UTC)(link)
[hm...]

... Would you say they're truly dead? Or could their soul be returned to their body, in some fashion?
oathic: (b1.)

[personal profile] oathic 2020-02-23 10:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, it depends on the scope on which you view death... but for a human, there's a short window for them to be revived.

[things get complicated from there, but the simplified version is:]

So you could argue they aren't truly dead until the underworld has crossed their name off and collected their soul, and then sent them to Paradise, Hell, or to be reincarnated as a new person entirely, in which case they can never return to the living realm as they once were.

[ooh, pizza.]

Thanks!

Do Master Blue's "good intentions" take that into account?
oathic: (b11.)

[personal profile] oathic 2020-02-23 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)
[he's quiet for a bit.]

... You know, I've lived a long time, so I've heard pretty much every reasoning there is—why it's acceptable for people to die for a greater good.

It's not like I don't get it, but people don't take well to being told, "well, you might have to die, but I promise it's for a good result." To be honest, I don't blame them.

What would it take for those souls to be returned?
oathic: (b40.)

[personal profile] oathic 2020-02-23 11:37 pm (UTC)(link)
... Mm. Yeah, I figured you don't much power in this situation. No offence.

So, what was with the monster anyway? What happened to Nikki?
oathic: (b39.)

Um, that doesn't usually involve turning into a literal giant rat.
