I know that you were able to create at least a partial cure once before, but have been sabotaged from creating more. I know that the staff attempted to replicate it, but met similar results.

I know that we were able to find a vial, and successfully use it on an infected individual with a reportedly succesful immunization against... whatever it is that happens to them. I know that Peach had mentioned that some of the required ingredients are... bizarre, or ancient, or otherwise extremely hard to find.

Honestly... I think that's all I truly know at this point. I had wanted to see if I could observe how Hunter's antibodies behaved and see if an immunoglobulin replication would be an option, but... [yknow. she has not done that yet.] I wasn't sure if that was too scientific an approach for a situation where something can change the very structure of how our minds work.

The Doctor does not always have to help people via medical means, Luna. Your role is to help both physically and metaphysically. To find a cure, you will need to explore alternatives outside of a physical object.

To an extent, yes, in the... in the medical sense. My personal ability to parse something like emotion is a little different, I suppose, but...

There's a lot of it that's a mystery, I think. You can't always explain why you're happy, or sad, or angry. It's just... a part of you. It just happens.

Is that not what you may consider metaphysical? Something that exists that you can't explain or truly see and apply an object to.

Would it be like, um... theories of the existence of a fourth dimension, perhaps? One could possibly argue that it exists, but with humanity's limited ability to view things in a three dimensional plane, there's no logical way to explain a fourth dimension, to see it, or to apply concepts in a way that our mind could understand... if it existed, even if we were aware of it, we would have no real way of viewing it outside the scope of our own experience.

Would... you consider that metaphysical?

The cure to stop this game exists outside of your current experience. Being here and learning adds to your experience. You have more time to explore.

It is. Human beings have to have something to inwardly guide them. Something else metaphysical, I guess. Otherwise... I don't know if you could call that truly living, could you?

Yes... it may work a little differently, but if something has a desire to live, and to keep living, then... I think that would be what counted.
