...there is a room in this house that changes on its own to whatever guests desire. maybe it's like a ripple effect or something, how some of the rooms round it turn into other things they shouldn't be

Oh, maybe... so some sort of magical energy running a little wild? I'm really not the best with this sort of theory, though, it's a shame Wei Wuxian isn't here to look at it.

-well, he's that too, yes, but-! He always was brilliant with this sort of thing. We still use some of the techniques and tools he invented on night hunts, even... even with his reputation. I'm sure they've done their best to separate it from him, but he is a genius, no matter how one looks at it.

oh. Jin Ling made him sound like a really bad person who caused his own death or something because he was a crazy demon meddler. I didn't know you guys studied magic and stuff.

Jin Ling... has his own reasons for seeing him that way. But Wei-xiong is an old friend of mine-- I knew him before he ever took up demonic cultivation.

we've had a lot of guests that've studied all kinds of magic. I guess you could say it's something similar to that though, yeah. energy running wild but only in certain places. it's why I sort of wish people would tell us before they try to break into these rooms.

it's not really your fault. I would really like to know why Master Blue even gave dynamite away as a reward in the first place but that's neither here or there, I guess! [She says this but her face is still very :T at the moment.]

I hate to say it, but I'm kind of glad you were there. who knows what would have happened to the other three if they were left alone?

Well, hopefully he'll show you at some point as well... I don't have it, but-

[but he is an artist, so! if peach hasn't seen it, he's going to do his best to make a quick sketch of what that picture looked like. it's not going to be detailed, considering it was blurry and he's trying to just make a quick outline so she knows what it is, but he'll add more to it as they speak.]

But it was something like this. A- photograph, I believe master Valentini called them? It wasn't made very cleanly.

He usually calls for me once a week or so. I may ask him then. [But in the meantime, she's watching him create this sketch and she's narrowing her eyes a bit to see the gist of it. When it finishes though she's pausing, expression curious but otherwise neutral as she thinks that over.]

Vaguely. That must have been...at least a few thousand years ago. I haven't seen something like that in forever.

we took it ourselves! there's a timer that gives you like 30 seconds to get into place before the camera takes the picture. but that's Master Blue :o
