What does it look like we're doing? We're checking out this locked room.

[Nevermind that Akira lost a leg and Anya died last week doing this same thing. They have a crowbar and dynamite, they'll be fine. Chuuya also brought his lucky rabbit foot, because why not it's small and you never know if it might be needed.]

C'mon. Let's go slow and check it out. Maybe we'll find out more about a cure for the monsters or something.

[ Once they've all walked in... the door closes behind them. It is dark. You are likely to be eaten by a grue. Or maybe they can just find a switch, that's fine too.

Until they do, they'll notice their steps on the floor seem to echo like they're stepping on marble? And it still smells very nice in here. Hm. ]

[ as soon as it locks.... phoenix tries to open it, to no avail. ]

..... Hm.

[ don't like that. ]

This smells like a pretty fancy trap.

[Zenitsu manages one foot across the threshold when the door closes behind him and forces his other foot. It's dark and he jumps (his heart jumps even higher, almost out of his throat) with a scream before blindly thrusting himself at Chuuya, who happens to be close.]

H-h-help! You have to protect me! I haven't managed to get married yet! I can't die before then!

[The dark or sudden door-closing doesn't spook Chuuya much, he's used to sudden changes in scenery like that. He was also kind of expecting it to be a trap too. But Zenitsu suddenly grabbing him makes him jump and flail his arms a bit.]

Don't scare me like that!

[A moment later, he's trying to shove Zenitsu away. He had been fine, but now his heart is racing because of Zenitsu's reaction.

Phoenix buddy, you might have to find the light switch.]

Now, everyone settle down.....

[ let him fumble around on the wall for a light switch, then... why the kids are screeching ]

[ He finds it! Next to the door, like a normal light switch. He flicks it on and...

The trio find themselves in a massive bathroom. A bathtub the size of a small pool sunk into the ground will probably be the first thing to catch their eye. There are golden bath taps surrounding it, with a single jewel of a different color encrusted on each one. It is currently empty. Outside of the bath, there's of course the toilet far off in the corner, looking more like a throne than a normal one, and a line of large, white marble sinks on one wall of the room. The floor is a dark sparkling marble tile. There are cabinets on the other side of the room, helpfully labeled with what extras they are meant to hold; such as soap, bath oil, bath powder, bath salts, bath robes, towels, shampoo, hair spray, and conditioner.

Welcome to the master bathroom. ]

[Zenitsu is just about ready to climb Chuuya, never minding the hand pushing at his face, when the lights flare to life and a giant bathtub swallows a sizable chunk of his vision. He blinks once, then twice. His grip on Chuuya's shoulder and back goes slack.]

Huh?

[Chuuya also blinks once, then twice. Huh. This is it?

And since Zenitsu is letting go, Chuuya will go ahead and walk over to the bath tub, looking it over carefully. There's no traps on the taps, right?]

This is it? Why would this place be locked up?

Maybe Master Blue doesn't want their secret bath bombs getting out....

[ phoenix will open the cabinets but he's ready to jump in front of the kids if need be ]

[Between Chuuya and Phoenix, Zenitsu trails after the ~~bigger shield~~ latter with his splinted arm clutched to his chest. Considering what's happened to people during previous break-ins, he wants to foolishly hope that they're the exception in discovering a safe room.]

Is it just the three of us here? I don't see anybody else.

[ The bath taps are helpfully labeled! There's the obvious hot water and cold water, but there's also all kinds of different scents for foam and soap bubbles. There's also different colors of water...?

The cabinets hold exactly what they say they should hold! All kinds of differently colored towels. The same for fluffy bathrobes and fuzzy slippers to match the bathrobes. Oodles of bath products. Etc.

Their footsteps echo in the bathroom, since the tub is empty. There doesn't seem to be anyone or anything else here right now? ]

[Hm. How suspicious.]

There's gotta be a trap here. Everyone else got mauled when they broke into rooms.

[He'll try turning on one of the taps of different-colored water. If there's red, he'll do red first. He's totally expecting a waterfall of blood or some 2spoopy shit like that.]

Seems it's just us... for the moment. Maybe we should start up a bubble bath for Master Blue.

[ phoenix closes the cabinets and heads over to the bathtub with chuuya to see what the taps do. stay behind him, children ]

[Who needs a bathtub this big? Zenitsu can hardly believe what he's seeing as he continues to watch with a fretful expression from behind Phoenix, just barely keeping the heavy breathing at bay. Nothing weird had better come out of those faucets. He doesn't want to get mauled.]

[ It's... red water! As if someone added food coloring to it, though if they dip their hand in it, it does not come out dyed. Weird. It's even a very pleasant temperature.

Though the bath seems impossibly large, it somehow fills up very fast. They might get half a bath tub of red water if they're not careful. ]

[Well if it's just regular water except red then he'll shut it off. Does it have a smell to it? Also what other color options are available?]

That might work if we ever saw Blue in person. One of the furries might be a better choice. Maybe Plum, she cleans for us a lot.

.... Somehow I don't think she'd go.for a relaxing bath, even though she deserves one.

[ phoenix is also looking at the colored taps with interest.. he dips a crayon in the water to see if that will do anything ]

[Hey, the tub filled up pretty fast even if the water didn't fill it all the way. That's eerie.

While Phoenix tests the water, Zenitsu chances a look around the bathroom. There's still nothing there, right? Not even on the ceiling? This isn't what he was expecting at all.]

Hey, how are we gonna get out if the door's locked behind us?

[ it smells like........water. There's all the colors of the rainbow available to test out. Phoenix's crayon is not wet. It really is just red colored water, apparently!

There's nothing on the ceiling! There's seemingly nothing in this room outside the bath, the sinks, the toilet and the cabinets. ]

Well, this room seems normal, somehow. I kinda expected something to try to eat us, but normal is better anyway. We can get the whole group and have everyone come back.

[So yeah, he'll walk over to the door and try to open it.]

Hm... If it were really that normal, we would be able to leave right off the bat.

[ phoenix tries to mix a few other colors in the bath, but his attention is also on the kids so he can jump into action if needed ]

[Can it really be so simple? Maybe it can be. Gulping, Zenitsu slowly strays from Phoenix to approach the sinks and mirrors.

Nothing weird at first glance, right? Right? Please say, "Nope."]

[ Chuuya tries to open the door... and then the door opens and you're free! Just kidding. Can you imagine? It's shut tight. The doorknob doesn't even turn anymore.

There's nothing that happens in the bath except the water doesn't mix to make gross colors, but rather layers and swirls prettily to make beautiful color mixes. Aesthetic.

There's nothing weird about the mirror and sinks at first glance... except one sink has a little blue paw print engraved on the tap. None of the other sinks have this, for some reason. ]

[He'll try the doorknob a few times before giving up.]

Yeah, no good over here. We have to find another way out.
