[Luna rings the bell in front of the Master bedroom and...the door swings open? It's a little dark inside, but it seems as though there's something of a living room/guest area that she's entering. She can't quite see yet, but soon she'll hear a soft, echo-y voice as chills run up her spine.]
She'll take a few careful steps in, making sure to close the door behind her. She's not sure where to look, but she'll carefully fold her hands in front of her before giving a bow, keeping her head low.]
[Luna apologizes and the lights flicker on not long after that, soon revealing a room. Seated on the floor of this room is a figure whose various eyes watch her curiously.]
You have been busy. [It's the same echo-y kind of tone, but they don't sound angry or anything.]
[i can't believe blue is an alien from ben 10 what the fuck
anyway
There's a little alarm at Blue's appearance, even though she had walked into this room knowing that the master wasn't a human. But thankfully, she settles herself rather quickly, her eyes falling to the floor as she collects her thoughts.
A beat. She shakes her head, looking more than a little crestfallen.]
Not as much as I should be, I'm afraid.
I know you were gracious enough to give me a hint before, but... I suppose you could say I haven't been bold enough to pursue them.
[They're doing their best. They don't seem surprised by Luna's state of alarm and instead take it in stride, letting her find her bearings before answering her.]
I've had so much time to try to look for a cure... to talk to you, or to your staff, or to try harder, but... I haven't. People have been dying when I might have had a better chance to save them, if I...
[She swallows back the rest of her words, feeling herself going just a little too far. She exhales, shaking her head.]
I apologize. You've given me an advantage, and I've... I've been squandering it.
I know that you were able to create at least a partial cure once before, but have been sabotaged from creating more. I know that the staff attempted to replicate it, but met similar results.
I know that we were able to find a vial, and successfully use it on an infected individual with a reportedly succesful immunization against... whatever it is that happens to them. I know that Peach had mentioned that some of the required ingredients are... bizarre, or ancient, or otherwise extremely hard to find.
...
Honestly... I think that's all I truly know at this point. I had wanted to see if I could observe how Hunter's antibodies behaved and see if an immunoglobulin replication would be an option, but... [yknow. she has not done that yet.] I wasn't sure if that was too scientific an approach for a situation where something can change the very structure of how our minds work.
The Doctor does not always have to help people via medical means, Luna. Your role is to help both physically and metaphysically. To find a cure, you will need to explore alternatives outside of a physical object.
[As long as they don't pull an Akechi and call her an imbecile, this is perfectly fine! Being questioned about what she can and cannot do isn't exactly new, anyway.]
To an extent, yes, in the... in the medical sense. My personal ability to parse something like emotion is a little different, I suppose, but...
There's a lot of it that's a mystery, I think. You can't always explain why you're happy, or sad, or angry. It's just... a part of you. It just happens.
So like... a concept, perhaps. Generally speaking.
[Mm. She thinks she gets it, but...]
Would it be like, um... theories of the existence of a fourth dimension, perhaps? One could possibly argue that it exists, but with humanity's limited ability to view things in a three dimensional plane, there's no logical way to explain a fourth dimension, to see it, or to apply concepts in a way that our mind could understand... if it existed, even if we were aware of it, we would have no real way of viewing it outside the scope of our own experience.
I see. So... it's not going to be as much of a matter as constructing something with what we already have, then. [Brilith's not gonna like hearing that, but Brilith can survive.
Yes. I, um... don't think it would do any good trying to convince it of anything, at this point, but... I just want to know. What it is, and what it wants, and why... why it involves you so much. I... I think it might be important.
W4, THURSDAY BEFORE CURFEW

The source is not entirely physical.
no subject
I... can't say that I follow entirely. All I really know is the physical. If I need to... to look past that, I...
C-Could you give an example?

Would... you consider that metaphysical?
no subject
The cure to stop this game exists outside of your current experience. Being here and learning adds to your experience. You have more time to explore.
[More time to find the "fourth dimension" so to speak, to use Luna's example.]

Um... may I... ask a question of you?
no subject
Yes. [...yes to both. Sometimes you're a Blue of few words.]

If... we're able to speak to you like this as a separate being, is... is there a chance we can do the same with the other entity of the house?
no subject
...you...wish to speak to the house?

Is... that not a wise idea?

No.
